My name is Renée Dacres and I’m currently studying for my BA in Creative Writing in the UK.
You seem to have stumbled upon a little place I like to call The Torn Notebook, a place where I like to share my thoughts on a variety of book- and writing-related things.
It’s too hard for me to pick a favourite book, so I will say that recent books I’ve read which have left a lasting impression are One by Sarah Crossan and Paper Butterflies by Lisa Heathfield
You might find some posts that have absolutely nothing to do with literature and that’s because these topics are important to me. For example, you’re more than likely to find a few discussions of disability, since I’ve live with Cerebral Palsy and disability awareness is something I am a strong advocate of.
